Sherburne County Sheriff's Department

Deputy Ryan Sturm and his K9 partner, Ecco, won top honors at the USPCA Region 12 Police dog trials held in Baxter last week. Ecco finished first of 87 dogs from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota, scoring 691 points out of a possible 700, earning the title of top dual purpose K9 of 2014 in Region 12. Ryan has been with the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office since 2004 and began his partnership with Ecco in 2009.
