March 1st, Tamara Luukkonen reported the theft of a sign from her store located on Fremont Avenue in Zimmerman. The sign is 12 feet long with a rainbow type flag that says “open” across it.  The sign is valued at $75.00.


March 9th, Jerad Fagerman of Monticello reported the tail light on his truck had been broken while it was parked at a business on Fremont Avenue in Zimmerman.  The damage amount is currently unknown.

RIVER OAKS PARK Master plan will be presented to Big Lake residents at open houses in the months to come.

BIG LAKE HIGH SCHOOL’S outstanding Knowledge Bowl Team took fourth place out of 91 teams at the St. Francis High school Rumble on the Rum meet last week.
