Ahles, Travis Kenneth, 18, of Buffalo, sentenced on 03/10/14 for Felony Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree to a stay of execution for 15 years on conditions of probation, serve 180 days jail, pay $50 fine plus surcharges, obtain permission before leaving the state, provide DNA sample, be placed on GPS training, submit to a polygraph, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, pay restitution, have no contact with persons under the age of 18 years, register as a sex offender, have no use or possession of pornography, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, have no contact with victim or victim's family, undergo a sex offender evaluation and follow all recommendations, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Strand.

 

Alatorre, Jorge Benjamin, age 31, of Big Lake, sentenced on 03/14/14 for Probation Violations for Felony Violation of No Contact Order to 21 months prison.  Sentenced by Judge Davis.

 

Bechtold, Steven Patrick, age 34, of Monticello, sentenced on 03/20/14 for Misdemeanor Assault in the Fifth Degree to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 88 days, $850 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, undergo counseling, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, complete treatment program, have no contact with victim, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Capistrant, Ashley Elizabeth, age 29, of Elk River, sentenced on 03/12/13 for Probation Violations for Gross Misdemeanor Third Degree DWI to 60 days jail.  Sentenced by Judge Davis.

 

Curtis, Cari Lee, age 41, of Montrose, sentenced on 03/19/14 for Probation Violations for Felony Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree to 30 days jail.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

 

Dao, Hung Phi, age 20, of Delano, sentenced on 03/19/14 for Misdemeanor Assault in the Fifth Degree to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 88 days, $850 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 2 days jail, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, complete an anger management program and follow all recommendations, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, complete 8 days sentence to service, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

 

Felder, Montrez Dee, age 24, of Maple Grove, sentenced on 03/19/14 for Misdemeanor Fourth Degree DWI to 90 days jail, $1,000 fine; 75 days, $900 stayed for one year on conditions of probation, serve 15 days jail, pay $100 fine plus surcharges, complete a Level II driving program and follow all recommendations, attend MADD Panel, attend a support group, have no use or possession of alcohol or non-prescription drugs, submit to random testing, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

 

Green, Kevin Parnell, age 48, of Monticello, sentenced on 03/18/14 for Felony Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle Resulting in Great Bodily Harm to 34 months prison.  Sentenced for Felony Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm to 27 months prison, concurrent, provide DNA sample, pay restitution.  Sentenced for Probation Violations for Terroristic Threats to 365 days jail, concurrent..  Sentenced by Judge Strand.

 

Hanson, Russell Wesley, Jr., age 18, of Cokato, sentenced on 03/18/14 for Probation Violations for Felony Receiving Stolen Property to 30 days jail.  Sentenced for Probation Violations for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the Third Degree to 30 days jail, concurrent.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

 

Herr, Gregory, age 21, of Park Rapids, sentenced on 03/19/14 for Felony Failure to Register as a Sex Offender to a stay of imposition for five years on conditions of probation, serve 90 days jail, pay $150 fine plus surcharges, complete cognitive behavior program, register as a sex offender, undergo a psychological assessment and follow all recommendations, obtain permission before leaving the state, provide DNA sample, have no use or possession of firearms or dangerous weapons, remain medically compliant, submit to random searches, complete 40 hours community service, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge McPherson.

 

Kaska, Jesse Paul, age 24, of Wright, sentenced on 03/19/14 for Felony Burglary in the Third Degree to 33 months prison, pay restitution, pay $75 public defender co-payment.  Sentenced by Judge McPherson.

 

Kroeger, Kristina Carrie Ann, age 30, of Annandale, sentenced on 03/18/14 for Probation Violations for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the Third Degree to 90 days jail. Sentenced for Probation Violations for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree to 90 days jail, concurrent.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

Pula, Stephanie Marie, age 21, of Monticello, sentenced on 03/05/14 for Misdemeanor Violation of an Order for Protection to 90 days jail, $125 fine; 90 days stayed for one year on conditions of probation, pay $125 fine, pay $75 public defender co-payment, abide by any outstanding order for protection/harassment order/no contact order, have no same or similar violations.  Sentenced by Judge Davis.

 

Sandoval-Barajas, Maria Reyna, age 29, of Sunnyside, Washington, sentenced on 03/18/14 for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the First Degree to 74 months prison. Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

 

Seledic, Matthew David, age 35, of Crystal, sentenced on 03/17/14 for Probation Violations for Felony Burglary in the First Degree to 180 days jail.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

 

Soland, Jamie Royce, age 33, of Watertown, sentenced on 03/18/14 for Probation Violations for Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the Fifth Degree to one year and one day prison.  Sentenced for Probation Violations for Felony Attempted Burglary in the Third Degree to one year and one day prison.  Sentenced by Judge Mottl.

THE SHERBURNE COUNTY CHAPTER OF THRIVENT FINANCIAL donated $1,200 worth of items to the Big Lake Community Food Shelf Tuesday. The donation included 50 hams and some personal care items.
