Track meet at Foley

THE HORNET TRACK TEAM was scheduled to compete indoors at Foley Friday with a snowstorm predicted to hit the area. The next scheduled meet (weather permitting) is Friday (April 11) at Princeton.

Winter-like weather delaying spring sports

Late spring snows have delayed the start of the spring sports season, forcing Big Lake athletes to practice their skills indoors until the playing fields are ready.

THE SHERBURNE COUNTY CHAPTER OF THRIVENT FINANCIAL donated $1,200 worth of items to the Big Lake Community Food Shelf Tuesday. The donation included 50 hams and some personal care items.
