Eagles pound Mora, 7-1

The Becker Big Lake Eagles had a big Two Rivers Conference win this week, defeating the Mora Mustangs 7-1 at home Tuesday.

Eagles defeat Fairmont, 6-2

The Becker Big Lake Eagles beat Fairmont, 6-2, in an away game this week. Senior Tucker Wilkendorf scored the first goal with an assist from Jake Piehl at 5:58 in the first period.

IT WAS YOUTH NIGHT at the BLHS gymnastics meet Tuesday. Children were admitted free with an accompanying adult. They were called up to participate in a handstand competition and the Hornet gymnastics teams signed autographs for their young fans while the results were being tabulated. The gymnasts are Laura Jore, Jacqui Miller, Tiffany Farrell, Avery Huber, Grace Thieke, Lily Noble, Kaity Swanson, Britney Knick, Cassie Knick, Britney Sundberg, Juel Johnson, Megan Kuenstler, Helena Lingasin and Meghann Norrbom.
