Spring color at the Refuge

The arrival of spring was celebrated at the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge Saturday with an exhibit from the Audubon Society of the Northwoods, Prairie Restoration, The Friends of the Refuge

MEMBERS OF THE SHERBURNE COUNTY SWAMPBUCKS AND MDHA presented a $400 donation to the Becker High School trap team’s coaches and organizers this past week at Keeler’s Gunsmithing in Becker.

11th Annual Little Hole on Big Lake

This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Little Hole on Big Lake Ice Fishing Tournament. Our first contest featured a list of prizes valued at approximately $300 total.

THE CITY OF CLEARWATER is no longer accepting brush near the maintenance building on Co. Rd. 75. The maintenance crew is picking up brush the first Wednesday of each month with curbside pick-up. The site will be used for installation of a solar energy system. Residents can still drop off leaves and grass cuttings at the compost site behind the maintenance.
