1st place for local boy's basketball players

A team of local boy's youth basketball players took 1st place in the North St. Paul Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS) Spring 5th Grade Tournament.

Big Lake 7th Grade Boys Basketball team took 1st place

The Big Lake 7th Grade Boys Basketball team took 1st place at the MYAS State Tournament the weekend of March 8 and 9. There were 197 7th grade teams competing in 13 different 16 team brackets.

THE SHERBURNE COUNTY CHAPTER OF THRIVENT FINANCIAL donated $1,200 worth of items to the Big Lake Community Food Shelf Tuesday. The donation included 50 hams and some personal care items.
