The Big Lake girls soccer team won its sixth game of the season Thursday, beating Heritage Christian, 3-0. It was rematch of last year’s opening round section game where Big Lake lost, 2-1.
The Big Lake Hornets girls varsity tennis team lost two Mississippi 8 Conference matches this week, to the St, Michael Albertville Knights Tuesday and Monticello Thursday, 7-0.
The Big Lake Hornets varsity volleyball team lost to the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets Thursday, 20-25, 27-25, 15-25 and 21-25, but they beat the Becker Bulldogs, 25-11, 25-8 and 25-18 Monday.
